LOGLINE

In a world ravaged by a virus that turns humans into monsters, an 18-year-old girl fights to save her infected brother, seeking refuge in a treetop village where survival depends on a fragile community and a precious antidote.

Set in the year 2072, the world has been ravaged by a deadly virus that transforms humans into fast, agile, zombie-like creatures. The Waste Punks, a group of infected children and teenagers, have built a treetop village in a dense forest, high above the dangers of the ground. Led by the stoic and disciplined Jack, these young survivors depend on a weekly antidote created by a brilliant but eccentric Scientist to stave off their full transformation into monsters. Their village, a marvel of ingenuity, is a secret haven, where they learn to fight, survive, and find a sense of community.

Amidst the constant threat of attack, the Waste Punks face challenges not only from the outside world but also within their own ranks. Relationships are tested, loyalties are questioned, and the ever-present danger of the virus looms large. As the children navigate this perilous existence, they must also contend with external forces like The Last Humans, who view them as monsters, and the tyrant Meistro, who seeks to control the antidote supply. In this harsh world, the Waste Punks fight for survival, hoping to one day find a way to truly live free from fear.
